Helping the community help itself
Strathard Community Trust is the community development trust for Aberfoyle, Kinlochard, Stronachlachar and Inversnaid.
We work across the Strathard area, both independently and in partnership with other groups and agencies. We help deliver projects that aim to improve the lives of people in Strathard and the quality of the environment we live and work in.
The Trust was established in 2005 as a company limited by guarantee, and is a Registered Charity.
Meet the Team
The affairs of the Trust are governed by a Board of Directors who volunteer their time.
The Board meets every month. Directors are either elected or co-opted from among the Trust’s members, or appointed to the Board by other community bodies.
Election takes place at Annual General Meetings. Co-option can take place at any time, usually to fill a vacancy or a skills gap.
